Rich Giveaway

I have been thinking a lot lately about the economy, people losing their jobs, losing their homes, losing everything. Some people who were making $350K plus a year lost everything by living outside of their means. They used to say they were rich, now they say they are in debt and are now poor. How do you define rich? Let's turn this into a giveaway. One person will receive a $10 gift certificate to my site, www.claires-closet.com and another person will get to pick out one thing for free.

Cloth diapering

I think cloth diapering is a wonderful thing that helps save the environment and helps save you money. I have been using cloth diapers with 3 of my kids and some of the diapers, I am currently using on my son, is the same diaper as I used on my other son and daughter. Pictured is an AIO (all-in-one) diaper. It has velcro which makes it easy to adjust and take on and take off. You can even use cloth liners to help give the diaper more absorbency. Never use fabric softener on your diaper because it will give you less absorbency. You can see some of the cloth diapers and accessories I offer here. I will be adding more diapers and accessories in the future. To clean the diaper you can use this or just shake it out in the toilet and place in a bag, which I do. And to get stains out, after washing and before drying I set it out in the sun and the sun fades the stains out. Our family has saved a lot of money with using cloth diapers.

New Blog

I finally decided to start a blog for my site, Claire's Closet. For those who are not familiar with my store, we are an online consignment/resale store for baby,children, and maternity clothing and accessories. I try to add new items every week, but sometimes that doesn't happen. My husband and I have 4 children, almost 7, 3, almost 2, and a 6 month old. I also just enrolled in Kaplan University to get my Health Science degree, so I tend to stay a little busy. I am very excited about starting this blog and I love improving my store and adding new things. I hope to add a Mom's Corner to my site soon that will offer special little things for all those hardworking busy mommas out there. So feel free to sit back, relax, look around, and enjoy some shopping without having to drag out the kiddos.
